In April 2011, the Center for Trade Policy Studies at the Institute of International Studies at the University of Chile Master program starts in International Strategy and Trade Policy. The Master in International Strategy and Trade Policy aims to strengthen the professional capabilities of students, providing conceptual and practical tools that encourage understanding and analysis of the complexities of the processes of international economic negotiations.
The program prepares professionals for the task of contributing to the processes of decision making in trade policy from a perspective that facilitates dialogue, understanding and joint analytical work on public and private sectors.

International Arbitration Competition - 2011 Plenary Meeting
The Faculty of Law at the University of Buenos Aires and the Faculty of Law at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogota have been organizing, in recent years, the International Arbitration Competition, a contest in which students from different universities act as counsel in a simulated case of arbitration. The next edition will be held in Buenos Aires in 2011. The publication of the case is scheduled for early March.
