The first biennial conference will be held in Bogota from 8 to 9 September 2011. Among the speakers will be Richard Ramirez (Member of the Appellate Body of the WTO), Adriana Dreyzin (former legal adviser and now the roster of MERCOSUR) and Carlos Correa (Professor at the University of Buenos Aires and an acknowledged expert on property intellectual). The deadline for submission of proposals for goods and / or workshops is extended until 30 March.
